HSA Custodians With Investment OptionsGuide Started By b.n. on September 2014 Last Updated on April 2015 | Contributions | Comments
This guide covers investment options for money held in a Health Savings Account (HSA).
Generally adults in the USA covered by a "high deductible" health plan are eligible to contribute to a Health Savings Account, through an HSA custodian. The fund need not be spent quickly. The principal and earnings may be kept until needed, perhaps decades later. For that reason many HSA owners invest funds into stocks or bonds appropriate for the expected holding period.
Fees for custodians vary wildly, which is why this guide was created. If you've got updates please provide them, and help keep this resource relevant and useful.
